I know this burner is inexpensive, but it is still junk.I bought two of these burners.Yes, they look pretty, but that's where the good ends.One of the burner's grates is uneven, causing the pot or pan to wobble.When it wobbles, the pan or pot does not make full contact with the burner's heating grate.The other burner's heating grate is more even, but it does not get red hot like the other burner.Too many inconsistencies.To sum up, you never know what you are going to get with these; an uneven grate, or an underpowered unit.I got water to boil, but it took ages.I will not buy these again.Click Here to see more reviews about: Better Chef Buffet Burner Table Top Single
